Hamilton Academical play in white and red hoops, so the kit keeps them, with black accents picked up from the away shirt chosen out of the Zeus catalogue.

The detail is inside the red hoops. They carry the Hamilton clan tartan, the family the town is named after, recoloured into the shirt's own red so the sett reads as texture within the hoop instead of competing with it. The back carries the club's nickname, Accies.

The kit was not worn by the first team. The youth sides used it in 2016/17 and the amateur team in 2017/18.
